Dinner at Dilly Dally continued the pleasant experience. Once again, the staff was friendly, and we were seated inside near the staircase. My husband and I shared four dishes. First up was the fried potatoes, which were absolutely delicious and a great value at $13. Next, we tried the prawns with potato and dill; however, this dish didn’t offer good value at all. We received only three small prawns for $27, and even after ordering an extra prawn, we felt a bit shortchanged since there should have been either six small prawns or three large, juicy king prawns. The flavors were lovely, but a few more prawns would have significantly improved our impression. Following that, we had the pork saus...
We had dinner here and felt totally ripped off at the end of our experience. We were greeted with disdain, as if we shouldn't be there. Then the waiters all but ignored us, they didn't come to check on us or see if we needed drinks as we dined. We had to ask for dessert menus after a very long wait. The food was average at best, flavourless at worst. The coffee was undrinkably strong. And we paid for the pleasure. So disappointed.
