Out of desperation, I tried to drink gas station coffee this morning. Then, I thought, 'Wtf is wrong with me?!? ' I dumped out that nasty stuff and headed straight for Horizon Line to get the real deal. Don 't torture yourself like I did. Just go to Horizon Line in the first place. Besides, they 're friendly and stuff.
Love this beautiful coffee shop and the beautiful people who work there! I know that no matter who makes my drink, I am going to get consistent quality! Their coffee is truly the best that I have found. I can drink their coffee black and that is a major thing for me, although I do love a cappuccino when I am there!
I can 't say enough about this place! The people at Horizon Line Coffee are always so warm and welcoming to everyone. The sign hanging on the window says it all 'We filter coffee not people. ' All the drinks are stellar. Favorite coffee place in Des Moines.
Best place for coffee in Des Moines by far. The style, design, decor is perfect. Product is outstanding. The staff is super friendly. The care and knowledge that goes into what they do is obvious. Great location and vibe.

Des Moines is so lucky to have HLC. Between the minimalistic intierior, the friendly staff or the specialty coffee cocktails you literally cannot have a bad expierence at this coffee shop.
I love Horizon Line! They bring a big city vibe, reaaaallly good coffee, and kind hearted nature to Des Moines. I highly recommend. Oh, and they are so nice to my small babes�
