We booked a room at this inn in order to access the famous Lascaux Caves II and the faithful reproduction of the original caves with their prehistoric paintings. Well worth the trip if you appreciate art, anthropology and happen to in the Dordogne region of France. The only challenge we had was finding it, as our GPS took us up the wrong side of the hill atop of which the Domaine is located. The lovely young couple that own and run the inn greeted us and made us feel welcomed, and were concerned that we had not seen their signs leading us to their establishment. The View from this place was by far the best amazing .The stay was very relaxing a lovely room with private access breakfast included in the price again Cheese jams breads coffee really laid back and chilled stay . The room was clean and comfy with private seating area outside with outstanding view. We had and evening meal both nights we were there , the food was a bit different some french cuisine but other foods that we tried and were very glad we did . Fantastic flavorous as very reasonable prices and the white wine we had was just beautiful the salad too very tasty leaves walnuts with an exquisite dressing . you search for calm, a really nice welcome, listening and in a relaxing atmosphere with an exceptional view 200 meters from the cave of lascaux, then you found. The estate has just been taken over. Certainly it requires some refreshments or modernization (although in such a setting the authentic is also,) but it is only a detail because it is very well received, the host table is of very good quality with products that have taste, a small breakfast well filled. A little more if you are attentive, the deer come to **** you during your dinner!

stay to visit Lascaux 4 and the surrounding area. The estate is ideally placed: stunning views of the valley, 5 minutes from Lascaux4.Menus at 15,00 very well, very copied, served with a smile. The owners took over the estate a few months ago, and arrangements are under way, especially to heat the restaurant room. Clean rooms, without tv, but we weren't there for this.Hotly welcome by the owners, who are in small care for their customers.
family meals interminable the time between dishes is inconceivable for a family with children and elderly while the restaurant was almost empty. damaging because the efforts are visible but the mediocre quality of the plate and waiting are not compatible with a pleasant moment ....
arrival a little early but despite this warm welcome. a dinner out on the terrace with a view of the incredible valley and in a relaxing calm. The dinner was up to the top with a good goose neck with foie gras. Good Viennese at breakfast.
The family welcomed us very well. a soft music accompanied our meal. The dishes are very well prepared, the neck of oie stuffed with a delight. very good cooking. Very tasteful. We'd think we're family.
