Dos Gringos is a Go To FAV spot for years for us. They pack their espresso shots, old school cool not fake like chain coffee shops. I APPRECIATE their efforts during the pandemic to make us happy safe. They use 2 air purifiers inside have built a nice outdoor covered area too. They get you in out pretty quick you can always call in your order ahead (handy for when I 'm late always : Support local be mindful they have gone through a lot as a Food Bev business during this crazy Covid time. This will always be one of my favorite spots for breakfast and lunch. The food is fantastic, and the coffee is quite decent. The hot salsa really packs a punch! They serve the best breakfast burritos in the valley. I've tried to find something that compares since they moved to Glenwood, and I just can't. I will say that some of the newer staff can be a bit brusque and short with customers, which wasn't an issue before. But don't let that deter you from lunch! I'll keep coming here as long as they're open, and I've learned to avoid busy times, as the burritos tend to be half the size then. Otherwise, Dos is excellent! Great food! However as a former restaurant owner I have to say I was disappointed with the attitude of the female manager on duty. She was incredibly condescending to the rest of the staff and just not very pleasant. Every member of the staff deserves respect from the proprietor to the dishwasher. On the plus side, my burrito was extra spicy as I requested and coffee was outstanding! Ditch the diva. You’ve got an amazing business and special concept there!
We stopped here on our way through from North Carolina and enjoyed some of the best burritos we've ever had! Their mole sauce was absolutely amazing, and we loved their homemade cookies and coffee as well. One of the reasons we picked this restaurant is because they care about the environment and use high-quality, local ingredients, including their beef. If you're searching for a unique dining experience, this is the place to go!
