I used to love this place! I would always tell everyone and recommend to go there because it used to be the best!!!! Absolutely delicious and always the same!! Size, seasoning, flavours etc…. The best!!!!Unfortunately, after a few last orders of boneless thighs I am very disappointed of the size, if I order more then one. This time, one was only half of the size big, and one obviously under sized, it looked almost like you guys didn’t find any smaller ones! If you're looking for a bit of a kick in your sandwich, I suggest opting for either the medium or hot spice levels. The chicken is incredibly juicy and cooked to perfection. As for the fries, I thought they were just average—neither fantastic nor terrible. It's a bit disappointing to see the Lemon Pepper flavor missing from their updated menu.
We typically go to DL for their chicken burgers, but this time we decided to try something different. We ordered chicken tenders with fries and the chicken and waffles. The chicken was, as always, spot on. We opted for the medium spice, but we sometimes wish there was a level between medium and hot. Our only complaint was with the waffle. While the flavors were good, it was thin and soggy. We would have preferred a waffle that was slightly less dense with deeper indentations to hold the sauce better.
