We stopped here because my kids wanted Chinese food as we've been having lots of local food on vacation. It was not at all what we are used to. I'll start with the good..the chicken lo mein was very good. Good flavor and lots of fresh vegetables. The wonton soup was good but very overpriced at $6.95 The rest of us had sweet and sour chicken which was terrible. I think the chicken was cooked before they breaded it, it was dry and tough and the breading was underdone and doughy. The sauce was a hot pink color that I've never seen before and there were no vegetables. The fried rice was okay but it was not like any fried rice I've ever had before, it was more like rice a roni. I have owned a home nearby for about 30 years and will tell you that this is the first good Chinese restaurant that has come to town. Service is excellent, their specials are the best deal on the menu and the décor is really poor but clean. This is a gem in a very rural part of the island that I enjoy dining in. Specials last summer ran $9 to $10 which for tourist used to American Chinese in the states is pricey but for Canada is about right as things cost more in Canada so get past that and enjoy a good meal that is fresh and not fast food.
If you are from the states avoid this place. Our meals were not what the menu said. Little to no seafood and very slow service, after attempting to bring this to a so called manager/owner we got cursed at. Got a refund but the family of 25 that were with us will not be going there. Over priced, under sold and a menu thats not what you get. Msg to that owner who talked to us: kiss my @$$ slime ball you can't cook.
wasn't a bad place to eat a bit slow food was good not much that they said was good for Canadian food as soup or salad but the stir fry was awesome could have been a larger portion since I had no rice but it was good. the club sandwich was really good too. overall good. server was very good but slow at bringing and being able to pay but I think she was the only one there to serve too. We were in Montague and wanted to try a restaurant outside of the major chain of restaurants and decided to go with this place. It's pretty standard Canadian Chinese cuisine, but a little below par and we weren't that impressed. I would try other restaurant options on the Island outside of this place.
We stopped in today as it used to be a favorite place to go and wanted to see if our memories were as good or better than we thought. Everything was wonderful as remembered. Our server was very polite and quick. We will definitely stop back next time we are in Montague
we eat here quite a bit during the year. it is always pretty good the kids go every Wednesday with their friends for wong tong Wednesday or they sucker me into getting them chicken balls.
Went in to place a take out order. waited 7 minutes while waitress told someone about her trip. Turned out they were waiting for their take out. Placed my order asking for 2 of Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Was looking to find a good place to eat in Montague. Dynasty has always had a great reputation. Nice and friendly staff. Food great as always.
