As a local family, we 've been a long time loyal customer of Ebony Quill mainly prior to it being taken over by the new owners. Today we ordered three 'Rustic Chicken Salads ' and a Mexican pizza. The chicken salads each had two thin strips of chicken whereas the chicken salad of the past had at least double that. My daughter asked for avocado as an extra on hers and the five thin slivers of avo came out on the bill as an extra $3.00. Our only conclusion was that the new owners think they can take cost out of the equation without really understanding what the customer values. I appreciate running a small business is not simple and remaining competitive while still earning enough is not easy....
Had lunch with friends on Sunday at EbonyQuill. I come here regularly and love it. Great food with extensive menus, excellent coffee and good selection of wine and beer. The restaurant upstairs is bright and has nice ambience. Service is always good and is prompt. I will come back soon. If you are in Camberwell, you must try it out.
Cappuccino arrived when we were finished our meal. How hard is it for a coffee to arrive on time at a coffee shop. Won't be coming back here.
Wonderful food and great service. Had the chicken risotto which was amazing. Beautiful atmosphere in the cafe.
