I have tried a number of Asian restaurants over the past 5 years. My previous go-to for over 20 years was Kwan’s on 54th Penn, but their quality and taste declined significantly when taken over by new owners around 2015. I have given them multiple chances over the past years, but no improvement has been made. Cadeo Express on 67th and Penn Ave S has been very good, but their prices have risen higher than competitors and they are not open on weekends. Red Pepper at Southdale Square has also been good, but their prices are also on the higher end. I have now found Eddie Cheng and am very satisfied with their food quality, taste and prices. I chose this restaurant because of the positive reviews I read, and I must say, the food and flavors did not disappoint. However, I tried to call ahead to place my order and was unsuccessful – I attempted to call four times with no answer. As a result, I had to go in person to place my order and wait for it, which was quite inconvenient since I couldn't order for takeout in advance. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for my order, which was frustrating. There were no busy staff members working at the time, and strangely enough, I didn't hear any phones ringing while I was there, even though it was around dinner time.
This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in Minnesota. Highly recommended! Everything was absolutely delicious. You order at the counter and don’t have to wait long to get your food. They also offer call-ahead orders for pickup. I will definitely be coming back! The customer service was great, and the facility was clean.
We have been getting takeout from here for at least 3 years. It is our go to place for Chinese. Great food and great portions! I had an excellent experience with the sesame chicken. The chicken pieces were tender and the sauce was fantastic. The service was outstanding and very prompt. The staff were friendly as well. Thank you!
The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I’ve never received anything that wasn’t hot and fresh. The delivery drivers are always friendly. This is the only place I choose when I want Chinese food.
delicious eating good amount for reasonable price. *I can eat 2 dominos medium pizza in a meal, and eat here fill me. sweet sour pork under $10 i drop supper little over $2 cream puff (10) under $5
