Just came from dentist, starving and looking for best soup in the area. Eating dinner later, so I searched Google for best soup, best diner, etc. Eddie's had 4.5. I went with their lemon rice. Simple, right? The cons: didn't have much noticable chicken. Aha! But the pros: $4.99 for a bowl, creamy, and packed with flavor! It was like homemade, and I wanted a refill. I watched the cooks in their open kitchen. Clean. Counters, clean. Manager/waitress- friendly, suggested, and just great, quick service. The folks next to me were having salmon. I had the fresh grilled lake white fish with broccoli, Greek grilled chicken salad with egg, Clamp shouter soup. The food was very good. I could tell they're proud to please hungry customers like me. FRESH FRESH FRESH!!!! Just right seasoned..... Perfect The clamp shouter (because it was Friday) had real fresh clamps in it with a nice balanced flavor. Usually I have to search for the clamps lol... The local fish (I really appreciate it) was grilled nicely to the point. Not beating around the bushes.... I'll looking forward to try this people more often with my high expectations in the future.... and I'm sure they will meet my high expectations. Thanks for a great experience!!!
Wow! The food was amazing and the staff was honest about what left me this review. They are always so beautiful and go beyond and beyond to make sure we take care. You can also say they have fun behind the counter, which is even more pleasant here. The music they play is also quite brilliant. It's always a nice mix. EXCELLENT experience. I don't know why I don't come here often. Pasta is much better than your typical Italian chain and again I cannot say enough that the staff is friendly. Very recommended.
Been here forever. Was a Biff’s back in the day. Recently remodeled and classier than ever. Now serves beer, liquor, etc. TVs are kinda loud. I like sitting in front of the grill to watch the food be made. All the pastas are good. The chicken Caesar is fantastic (it’s the dressing. The Lake Superior whitefish is a destination menu item. Comes complete with soup, salad and baked potato (or steamed broccoli. If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t miss it. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
We love this place! Just wrapped up dinner, which we picked up. The chicken Marsala, zip pasta and cream of broccoli soup were excellent. We also ordered dessert, chocolate mousse and Tiramisu! The place is always packed, so we usually call in our orders and pick them up. The women working up front are so sweet and hardworking. They've never messed up our orders. We will be back!
I came across this place on tik tok and we were so excited to try it! Especially the Hawaiian fries The Hawaiian fries were good after adding Parmesan to it. The sauce was missing a little love.
