I wish I had read the reviews before eating at Edo in Calgary for the first time. After placing my order and paying, I noticed that all the other customers and even new arrivals were being served before me. When I asked about my meal, I was told that it was already prepared and sitting there. I saw the staff add extra sauce to my dish, even though I had only requested one. After checking with the manager, they realized their mistake and took the food back to the kitchen. However, the kitchen staff looked unclean and unprofessional. Two weeks ago on a Friday evening, we experienced a 15-minute wait to be served followed by another 15-minute wait for lukewarm food. The portions were skimpy, but the biggest issue was a 20-minute wait for a bubble tea that never arrived with the other drinks and meal. The moderate quality tea was served 20 minutes later, missing pearls and the gel was lacking flavor. Overall, this visit was not impressive. There is a need for improvement in portion sizes and serving times to ensure hotter and timely food.

I had the beef sushi today and 1 hr later I am throwing up weak sick shaking and scared ugh!!!! Careful with this place only order very hot items on the menu

The lack of cleanliness and moldy appearance of the food was unacceptable. It was disgusting. This will be my last time ordering from this restaurant.

sushi was made so small, super soggy. simply taste like a mosque. I don't know what happened this time, but super disappointed.
