The main difference between this restaurant and others I've visited is that they prepare the sushi rolls fresh while you’re there. The rolls are of average quality—not particularly remarkable. The spring rolls were fried in fresh oil, which was nice. They also offer their teriyaki sauce for sale in a bottle for $6.99. The dishes and rice are fresh and flavorful, with a good portion size. The restaurant was clean, and the tables were promptly wiped down after each customer. However, I found the checkout area to be quite cramped, making it feel like you’re in a cattle herd. Ordered my usual chicken and beef teriyaki bowl with double the meat. Wondered why the bowl looked empty when i grabbed to go. Thought it was maybe not double the meat? Got home to eat it and realized there was not even a cm of rice in the bottom? Called them to let them know and the guy on the phone kept trying to tell me that there couldnt be a problem cuz his district manager made it. Horrible customer service. It was suggested that i order more rice next time? Appalled by this experience, Took a pic but not sure how to post it. That was my last visit there. Fort st john location
We ordered 5 meals only one of them was right. Was missing a drink. The rice was over cooked. When the 1st girl came over with all the wrong food we wouldn’t take it. She didn’t say much to us but went over to the girl that was running the till and that girl came over and wanted to argue about things we ordered. That was even on the receipt! Once we actually got our right bowls the food wasn’t even hot. Maybe change of management or something but that was really bad. Don’t argue with the customers about things that are on the receipt.
Good thing I paid the extra $3.50 for double beef. Cuz half of what I got would be sfa. I love Edo. Literally subsisted on it during University. I was so excited when they opened in my home town! I keep coming back about every 4-5 months hoping this place will become legitimate. So disapointing compared with any other Edo. Noodles always overdone. Rice always old and to wet. Chincy.
I will never ever go to this location . Employee( look like manager , was very rude with me yesterday . No doubt , I love edo but Zero customer service . Paying for my food . Not for insult . Please avoid this location . Also reply to this review if you ever felt the same.
Weird thing to nitpick but they use WAY more garlic at this location than anywhere else I've been in BC. The only way I know is because my allergic reaction to the garlic content was much worse than any other Edo location I've been to. Very fresh though!
This is the best Edo I've ever experienced. The staff is fantastic, the food is delicious, and I absolutely love it! I would happily eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I could.
The restaurant is very clean, and the staff always wash their hands after completing each order. They are friendly and highly professional. I will definitely eat here again.
Edo offers comfort fast Asian meal. Everything is good, but gave 4 stars as they ordered wrong, we ordered Udon, but got her arms.
