Eggsquis - Tisch resevieren

We're in Saint Hyacinthe the other week on business and on one morning we grabed some breakfast at Eggsquis. This place looks like it might be a chain in Quebec but this is my first visit to any location. The place is simple but nice and we had great service. There are quite a few selection on their menu and I did struggle to pick one but I ended up trying the Eggspert which included two eggs, beans, creton, bacon, ham, sausage and toast. It was a big breakfast but it was very good. I will be back to Eggsquis the next time I am in Saint Hyacinthe on business and would recommend the place to anyone looking to fill an empty stomach.

Visited on a Monday, 10:30am. Only 2 waitresses, one of whom was chatting with a friend on the edge of the door and never bothered to smile tell us to wait a moment. We waited 6 minutes before the hostess came to greet us (not her fault, she was running while the other was talking).The other waitress got into a fight with a client who found the service slow... uneasiness when the tone rises and it's the employee you hear answering, and not the client!For the food, nothing extraordinary; the potatoes were not on their first stove!If we go back to the area, we will find something else...

Je n'ai pas l'habitude de comparer sur mes avis mais comme je suis sur St Hyacinthe pendant 10 jours c'était l'occasion de tester les restaurants déjeuner. Et Eggsquis est loin derrière Ben & Florentine. Pour la même assiette, cuisine juste standard- pain trop beurré, une crêpe au lieu de 2 et repas plus cher...Les plus : les fruits à la place de la compote Et le thermos de café qui reste sur la table. (tous ces thermos d'ailleurs doivent faire parti de l'addition...) Le service est impeccable, rapide et dans la bonne humeur. Restaurant agréable donc mais sans plus.

I went there with a friend, super good meals, nothing to say about the food. On the other hand, the waitress passed the broom in a VERY noisy way by moving the chairs of the other tables. Until going next to us, we could see the pile of dirt when we were eating. We barely heard each other speak. Then it was the turn of the very fragrant mop. We were close to closing but still...the waitress told us that we could take our time but clearly it was unpleasant and not very appetizing. A great lack of tact and professionalism. Vegetable casserole was excellent must like eggs Benedict). Excellent service: the waitress did not hesitate to move us because of intense light reflections and defective curtain). Small restaurant with young and very friendly staff: at the back of the room, the toilet doors slam loudly; further forward are the juice blenders. Personally, it didn't bother me, but the people who came with me >80 years old, sensitive to noise) didn't like it.

Back from the trip, we had lunch at Eggsquis St-Hyacinthe.Smiling welcome from the hostess, coffee quickly offered by a friendly young waiter named Nathanael and a huge pancake for lunch.Except the noise of the conversations which was a little disturbing because there is an echo, the rest was pleasant.

My salad was drowned in Caesar dressing yet I like it had way too much!
