It’s wonderful to have an excellent Mexican restaurant in town. We used to visit the original location in Seward about once a week, and now the same top-notch quality is only two minutes from my home, which is fantastic. I suggest ordering online or calling ahead if you plan to use the drive-through, as you might have to wait otherwise. However, the wait is absolutely worth it for the fresh, high-quality food.
I've always enjoyed La Cocina in Seward during my visits, and I recently learned that they have opened a second location in Milford, which really needed it since there aren't many options besides the pizza place. The food is just as fantastic, if not better, than anything I've had on the West Coast. If you love spicy food, their salsa is outstanding!
I had a beef fajita, it was plain and had no seasoning. The beef was very tough. My husband ordered the fajita rancheros. It was also tough beef and unseasoned. It is if they just pan-fried the onions, meat, and peppers and added no seasoning except salt. The charro beans that came with my husband's order we're absolutely excellent.
I was quite disappointed with the food during my two visits. I tried the shrimp cocktail, and it was surprisingly sweet—definitely not what I expected. The enchiladas were also a letdown; instead of the usual enchilada sauce, they tasted like marinara sauce. The only item that was worth the price was the Horchata. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The service is quick and attentive, and the food is fantastic whether you choose to dine in or take out. The prices are quite reasonable. What else is there to say? Thank you for coming to Milford; we really appreciate you, Karen Filbert!
The portions were incredibly generous! The chips were among the best I’ve ever tasted—warm, thin, and crispy without being oily. Our group ordered five different dishes, and everyone was happy with their choice.
We love our local Mexican restaurant. The fajitas, rice and beans, and carne asada remind us of the delicious meals we had when we lived in Mexico.
