Really enjoyed it here. Whether you sat inside or outside, it's gonna be a cool vibe.Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive too and helpful with menu choices.Coffee was great which is always a plus.Missus loved her granola and the serving size. I had the beef burger, which was very different to most burgers I've eaten lately. Very interesting flavour. But I enjoyed it a lot. Just wish it was a little bigger. Or more beef and less bun. Either way, well worth a try.Chips were very crispy on the outside. Some were slightly under cooked on the inside.Overall it was a very good experience and we will be back.
What can I say? Supreme coffee is really nice and they just nail it every time. Proves you don't have to have a roaster parked in the back of your cafe to make a ripper coffee. Breakfast is great, too. Always striving to improve and innovate different flavours etc. Nothing boring going on in here.The owners (who work there, too) are the nicest people, always going on and above to make your experience perfect. We go there all the time. Best Eggs Benedict I think I've had.Good value for money, too
100% great coffee everyday. The owner is on the cafe floor keeping it real. The interior is spacious and comfortable. Free WiFi. Excellent food. Indoor and an outdoor deck at front to watch cosmopolitan Lygon Street pass by. They have great neighbors - a chocolate maker next door to the north, and a super cool designer objects outlet one door to the south. Seriously, go there, to soak up the solid Brunswick reputation for chilled out quality living. They operate 7:30am to 3:30pm.
Just off Lygon Sreet in the heart of East Brunswick you will find El Mirage. I stumbled across it last year when I moved to the area and it has been a firm favourite for weekend breakfasts ever since. The staff are all pleasant nod the food is fantastic. I haven't managed to run through everything from the menu yet as I keep going back to my favourites. The pancakes are a warm filler for a chilly winter day and the corn fritters are to die for. Excellent coffee and good service

I am a local and I am a regular at El Mirage.Very lucky to have this fantastic place in my neighbourhood.The coffee is delicious and the food always perfect.The staff is super friendly and an extra thumb up for the fantastic chef who always delivers truly delicious meals. The food is super fresh and when it arrives on the table it is almost a shame to eat it because it always looks like a piece of art, so, so beautifully presented.
Great value with attentive service, good coffee and a very good menu. A short ride out of Swanston Street on the number 1 or 6 (from 1 May) trams. Great breakfast menu with good lunch options ranging from a tasty hamburger served on a brioche bun to a beautifully cooked Atlantic salmon fillet with beetroot sorbet and fennel, orange and pickled beetroot salad. Service is friendly and efficient.
Have been frequenting this place for the last 6 years. This joint does Brunswicks best coffee and breakfast by a country mile. 2 Poached eggs on sourdough with double mushrooms sets you up for a cracker weekend! The owner hits the floor and staff turnover is low which says the guy is genuine. Brunswick Delight!
One of the many local cafes around the area, the difference here, staff happy to give good service, which can be a rare thing. Prices are very respectable and we'll worth it for the food on offer.

This is our third day in a row coming here but not without trying the place next door and the "budget" Italian parm place on the corner.
