We went to the buffet, they definitely need more servers. One server, for the desserts, posole, ceviche line was horrible. At least put two servers there!! Line was crazy! The other lines for food, also need more servers, I don’t understand why they would not have enough people serving, at a buffet. Otherwise, the food was excellent!!
They have dine In and followed the Covid 19 policy to keep tables separated. Curtis took care of me he very nice and friendly, and made 2 delish Pomegranate Margaritas. Monday they have steak fajitas special with a discount from the regular price. I got the sweet cake corn and the flan too.
El Torito was great. Our server Chris was outstanding and everything about the meal all the way to the deep fried ice cream dessert was top notch. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this La Mesa restaurant to everyone.
Food was great ... Server was kind and friendly. We did patio dining and were the only ones outside. Everyone else dined inside!
