what a crazy waitress we had today! I have always eaten the German pancakes, today it came out without the hits on him, they were on a side panel, I said the waitress that I never had served it like that and she answered her restaurant had always served so, I answered, I had eaten there all 2 weeks for the last two months and never had served it so, she told me that I had been eaten at another place! I also had it in my salem location all 2 weeks and it was never so served! the pancake must be hot so that the torfs mix in them and it absorbs the aromen that it does not today, it was also a bit smaller. I can't imagine a waitress telling a customer that she didn't know where she had eaten all...
We were in town for a good time and were looking for a place to have breakfast. I'm usually not one to choose Elmer's, but it was my father's choice so we decided to eat here. The food was good, but the service was excellent! Our waitress, Ashley, was wonderful! I can't remember the last time I had such personalized service during breakfast. She frequently checked on us to see if we needed more coffee or tea, which was brought to us quickly. I will definitely ask for her to be our server next time we come here to eat.
if they have special eating restrictions, I would not recommend it here. I have to be careful what I eat, no chalk, no milk and no sugar out. I explained the waitress my eating restrictions. I told her everything I wanted was the laugh and some fruits. I have a very small fruit bowl as an appetizer. my teller I got a small piece of laughter crushed in salsa, a few small slices of roasted vegetables and a huge portion of reispilaf (which I can not eat) that all cost me about $20. I will not go back.
It's STRAWBERRY season at Elmer's! Always worth your wait for crepes, waffles, salads, strawberry lemonade and any combination they cook up. Their food is consistently good. My son has taken me to Clackamas Elmer's on Mother's Day weekend for as long as he can remember. We always wait to eat in just because it is so worth it! The young cashier on Thursday and Friday afternoons. She is very rude and has a bad temper. Together with the waiter man he never went to ask if we were okay or if we had something and also with a rude character.. He never checked on us after we got our food, he finally came to give us the check after 20 mins of waiting. Even the cashier was in a bad mood it seemed. Morning service is a lot better.
very busy. many families with children are literally walking around. this restaurant used to be quiet until the nearby denny is closed. I hope it helped the business. Eating was really good, but the German pancake was burned. overall good will not be back in the hours.
My friend's eggs Benedict had to be sent back because the egg whites were still runny. My fish chips were greasy sitting in a pool of oil. The service was great, but the food was not. It felt like an absolute waste of money.
