My husband and I were just in Emerald for the night, and were looking for somewhere to have a relaxing dinner. Emerald Explorers Inn Restaurant exceeded all of our expectations!We arrived before the kitchen opened, but the manager invited us to sit at the bar and have a drink for half an hour until the kitchen opened. Great range of beverages available, and the managers were very friendly and we had a great chat. The food was top notch, salad and all food was super fresh. Highly recommend the damper, which is a bit different to your traditional garlic bread. The new menu was in the local newspaper & had some nice-sounding items listed so we decided to check it out. We initially wanted to try foods from 4 courses but thought we would have trouble fitting it all in so we decided to skip the garlic damper (maybe next visit!). The food we did have was delicious from the eggplant parmigiana for entree, to the salmon & lamp chops dishes for mains, & fig tart & chocolate mint cheesecake in a jar for desserts. The price was reasonable & the service was attentive but not intrusive. We'd recommend it & would go there again.
My husband and I held a function here, the night before our wedding. We had many familyMembers travel from interstate, so we wanted somewhere that also had a courtesy bus option. The customer service was among the best we have ever received here in emerald (as we are locals). Every one of our 45 guests complimented the food and the service. Also, we had some guests stay in the accommodation at explorers inn, after having a quick look through the rooms I found them to be very tidy and comfortable. We highly recommend this venue, for leisure or business.
Visited Friday evening for dinner. Courtesy bus pickup made it very easy. The meal and service was excellent. Had dinner here with friends on a Saturday night recently, their pick, we are local and had previously been disappointed.... We were treated to an excellent night and great food from the new team running the motel and restaurant. Highly recommend.
Dining here, you could be forgiven for thinking you were eating at one of the best restaurants in Australia. Amazing menu and an extensive wine list. Would highly recommend it

This place does amazing food and is a little out of town from emerald cbd itself but def worth the drive to go to explorers on for a meal you won't be disappointed
