update: I have been here several times since my first 3 years. each time there is a good handful of vegan choices with different worthiness. they have a good focus on customer service. that will be a stone for me. they have a great outdoor terrace, even had a vegan dessert too time! : my neighbor informed me about this place and the insider information. they have a rotating seasonal menu with a few vegan options - all marked. the olives and sorted nuts were even marked. The fries and pickles are great but the actual meals leave something to be desired. I think it’s the Nashville tofu sandwich that I tried and was completely lacking in flavor. The hot sauce was ridiculously hot but that’s not my complaint. The tofu (the actual substance of the sandwich) was literally flavorless. Like it was just fried with maybe some salt and pepper. Essentially a shining example of why people don’t like vegan food. So if you’re going with your friends for drinks you definitely won’t be hungry because the vegan bar snacks are delicious. But think twice if you’re going for a full meal.
this place is amazing, they have a great choice that eat is wonderful, menu marked clear, worth knowing staff, great atmosphere and wonder selection of drinks. my favorite cidder is the blush. one of the keys for me to love a place is that I can take my whole family and everyone will find something that likes themselves. that checks all boxes.
I heard so much good about this place and I wasn't disappointed. the chef of cuisine has clearly thought about us when he created the menu as the weather gets warmer, this place is packed. was dog-friendly on the terrace that was brilliant and the mood was great. so happy to see a modern place in the old irving park! cannot wait to go again!
