We (myself, my wife and daughter) went for dinner recently on Sat. This was our first time at Everest and will definitely NOT be our last. The three of us were seated at a large table in the front of the restaurant near the door. It was nice to have lots of elbow room. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful, mouth watering aroma from the food that was being brought out, especially from the sizzling dishes. We had the Papad and Samosa for appetizers. Both were excellent. The sauces were excellent as well. We also had the chicken dumplings the Chicken Momo, which was excellent. This was brought out at the beginning as well. They met with some friends and found this restaurant while you are looking for a place in the middle. The waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable in the menu. The food has a strong influence on Indian food, which makes sense as the countries are so close together. We had two different curry dishes, spicy tofu, Tandoori chicken, vegetable pasta and garlic naan. It was very delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for value was I felt it was little expensive for lunch. I think it's the same as the dinner menu. Overall, the food was delicious and I would definitely return for another meal.
This was my second time dining at Everest Himalayan Restaurant in the past six days. This restaurant is truly a gem on the South Shore of Long Island. The food is very fresh we had the cheese naan, mixed Tandoori, chicken Vindaloo, wine and beer. The atmosphere is wonderful and the owners and wait staff could not be more helpful or kind. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Everest is outstanding. Every dish was delicious. The staff was attentive from the outset. Ordered apps Samosas and mixed momos . Shrimp vindaloo, biryanis, and lamb grill were outstanding; looking forward to exploring other dishes in the future. Hidden gem on Long Island.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our dinner here. The food was delicious, creative and tasty. The service was outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly. Thumbs up overall!
We used Open Table to reserve but the restaurant was full. We waited for a short time and were seated. The waitress couldn’t be nicer. The tastes and textures were really interesting.
Date Night with my husband. The food is delicious and wait staff are so comfortable and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We had the Samosa, Saag and Chicken Tikka Masalaa. Everything was delicious and looking forward to our next visit.
A must try food is outstanding and delicious. Bread is unbelievable too
