This is our go-to place for lattes and London Fogs—be sure to try it with black split almond tea; you won’t want to go back to Earl Grey after that! The breakfast burrito and specialty croissants are incredible! They also feature a variety of local artists, so you can find unique items like buttons, clothing, jewelry, soaps, and spices. Plus, they have pinball machines in the back; just $2 gives you three games. There are even hooks outside for tying up your dog while you grab your drink! Occasionally, the service can be a bit awkward, but it's not uncomfortable enough to be an issue. After all, what do you expect from a hipster spot?
I enjoyed the cappuccino I had—it was definitely better than many of the burnt espresso drinks I've tried in Vancouver, though it still didn't quite match the smoothness of a traditional Australian flat white. It seems that Far Out is in the process of enhancing its food menu. The bakery selection was limited and appeared to be sourced from outside, but I noticed other tables enjoying some appetizing breakfast options. If I were 20 years younger and sporting tattoos, I'd definitely be lounging here in my Dayton punk boots!
Today, I discovered a charming little café and couldn’t resist stopping by. I prefer supporting local businesses over big chains like Tim Hortons or Starbucks, and I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The coffee was fantastic, boasting a rich flavor, and I also tried the cheese croissant, which was delightful. The total for both items was just $8, making it quite a bargain. I will certainly return. The service was exceptional; the barista was friendly, and the quality of both the food and coffee was excellent.
The barista and cashier appeared to lack customer service skills. There wasn't a single smile, just brief and indifferent responses. The quality of service was so disappointing that it felt like I had entered the wrong place. I believe the atmosphere of a coffee shop is very important, and unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it here. The coffee here is fantastic, featuring freshly made lattes and chai that are absolutely delightful! I also love the charming vintage decor and the plethora of live plants spread throughout the shop.
This is a fantastic new place! While the menu is still a bit limited, the food is exceptional, making it a lovely local café. The staff is friendly and genuine, and they serve excellent coffee.
I strongly recommend this restaurant for its superb coffee and delicious food! The only drawback is their limited operating hours. Overall, it's absolutely worth a visit. - John
