I've been to countless restaurants in Lexington, and it takes a lot to impress me. However, I was absolutely amazed by how fantastic the tamales are here! They are, without a doubt, the best in Kentucky—period! The restaurant itself is charming and cozy, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is incredible, and I honestly can't believe I never stopped by before while driving past! I've truly discovered a hidden gem in Lexington! I highly recommend dining here!
This is a fantastic little hidden gem! The tamales, refried beans, and guacamole are all outstanding. I'm eager to explore more options on their menu. The jalapeño and bean tamale was particularly remarkable. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is swift. The interior is enchanting, filled with vibrant colors and an array of piñatas. Parking can be a bit tricky, but don't let that stop you from visiting!
What’s not to love about this gem in Lexington! Maria is the most gracious host and her food amazing! As a pescatarian it’s often hard to find delicious choices, but I did here! The tamale masa is so light and fluffy. I had the Poblano Cheese and Jalapeño Bean tamales along with the Shrimp Cocktail. Be adventurous, take a chance and you won’t be disappointed!
The restaurant has a cozy, homely atmosphere. I had a great experience with the cashier, who mentioned that he had been working there for six years. He was very polite and helpful. I truly enjoyed the food; the tamales were the best I've had in a long time. I tried both the beef and pork tamales, and I would highly recommend the pork to any meat lover! I really enjoyed my tacos, and the dining room had a lively atmosphere with colorful piñatas hanging from the ceiling. The woman who took my order was incredibly friendly. I can’t believe I’ve been passing by this place for so long without stopping! I even took some ceviche home for my husband, and he loved it. We will definitely be returning soon!
we had the bark sauces, cheese and jalapeno, pork and bark sauces. everything was great! the tamales were the best part of my opinion after, I bought 10 frozen jalapeno and cheese tamales to bring home. when ordering, make sure that the cheese on the deceased, they stack it up!
This place is so cute. Looks like an antique shop in the front. Next door to Seoul Market. Lots of color inside. The owner Maria is very sweet. Su inglés es muy bueno. Vegetarian option. You can do beans, japs and cheese from mild to hot. The dresses are $25.

really fast and easy tamale lunch I got the bark and pork, and my man said that the huh was amazing. next time, we'll go home to freeze. can not wait to try more of the menu!
