I happened to pass by this restaurant while heading to Staples and decided to give it a try. The cheesesteak was excellent, with high-quality steak that really stood out. The sidewinder fries were crispy and had a nice, simple seasoning that complemented them well. While it's not the cheapest lunch option, the portions are quite generous—I ordered a medium and had a hard time finishing it. The service was quick and friendly, too. Next time, I’ll get my car washed next door so I can take advantage of the discount!
Everything we ordered was overcooked. The wings were so dry that they resembled crackers on sticks. The seasoned fries were bland and likely burnt, coming off as dehydrated potato sticks. The cheesesteak meat was also burnt, with colors ranging from black to dark brown, and many edges were completely overcooked and crispy. We were quite hungry, so we tried to salvage the center parts of the sandwiches, but the wings and fries were entirely inedible and a complete waste.
This restaurant has undergone a remarkable transformation since the change in ownership. It's truly impressive! We even had them cater our Super Bowl party. Having spent half my life in Philadelphia, I can confidently say that this place delivers more flavor and better quality than many of the overrated spots in the city. I highly recommend the fried pickles—they're made fresh daily!
The cheesesteaks here are the best I've ever tasted in the area. The fried pickles are made fresh every day and are absolutely incredible! This is also the only place where you can find sidewinder fries. And if you still have room for dessert, the milkshakes make the perfect way to finish off a fantastic meal! The menu doesn't mention that the mac and cheese bites are spicy, which caught me off guard. They were still tasty, though! As for the burger, it wasn't really to my taste, but that’s just a matter of personal preference when it comes to burgers.
The food was poorly prepared. The bread was hard, and the sandwich was missing some of the toppings I paid for. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

Classic cheesesteaks in Bellerose. It's a great spot to grab a bite if you find yourself in this quaint little town.
