Update for 2022. Still the best food in Mt. Washington. We still go often. Not that there are a lot of food options locally, but even if there was, I?d still pick this place. The kitchen staff seem like they enjoy being there, says something for the place.The new server is nice and recognizes us. Go for the food, it?s worth it! By far the best Mexican around. We frequent thisplace nearly weekly. It appears that recently they made some staffing changes. New staff is friendly. But we really go for thefood. I?m not sure how anyone can not like the food. My husband and I ordered takeout. We ordered the chicken fajita for 2, a side of refried bean, pico and white cheese, we paid $40. When we got home there was barely enough chicken and peppers for 1, no refried beans and the pico was half full. Myhusband called to complain and it was pointless. This was our favorite Mexican restaurant, have been going there for 5yrs,might need to find a new place.
Food was hit and miss. Missed a couple orders by a mile. Ordered bean and cheese burrito and got a beef burrito. Waiter was having a day I guess, threw the queso bowl down on the table in front of me. We were a group of 12 with 7 kids so i understandthat isnt a favorite situation. Doesn't give the waiter an excuse to be short with everyone.
