Went here for the famous roast beef mozzarella special, didn’t fully live up to the hype for me. Beef was bland and bread was hard to eat. The only reason this place was three stars for me was the mozzarella. Let me tell ya, it’s literally the freshest mozzarella you will taste in your life. Absolutely amazing and def the saving grace for the sandwich. Gravy had a nice flavor and made the beef easier to eat as well.With all that said I wouldn’t really come back unless it’s for a traditional cold sandwich with that fresh mozzarella
Over 20 years ago. I used to regularly go there for lunch when I worked in Weehawken for Seatrain. Recently, a friend from the UK was visiting his brother, who lives in Hoboken, and I told him to go for the best mozzarella sandwich. Since then, I have been craving one, so I ordered it to be picked up. I'm disabled and the only negative I can say was it wasn't ready, and I had to wait for it to be made. Something I was trying to avoid because it's painful for me to stand.
Yep, this place is legit. I feel like it's been exactly the same store inside for the last 100 years. I ordered the Italian sub and omg was it good. Don't forget to have them add mozzarella and the roasted peppers.The guys working there were super friendly and offered up a sample of the daily special sausage in sauce).Cash only and it's pricey $19 for a whole sub) so bring plenty of cash if you're buying a few things.
We visited this place for the Thursday specials after seeing many positive reviews.The sandwich tasted good, but I don’t think it was good enough to come from Manhattan and taste it. The meat was tasty but since they put very little sauce the bread was quite dry contrary to what you can see in the picture.And we didn’t think that mozzarella would be famous, it was a dry random mozzarella.

I’ve been to a lot of Italian Delis in Hoboken, and Fiore’s is one of the best! I went this last Wednesday and had a delicious Sausage and fresh mozzarella sandwich! The quality was so fresh and the person who helped me was very friendly! He even let me have a little taste! Can’t wait to go back and try the Thursday hot roast beef with gravy special!
I can't stop thinking about the sandwiches that I ate from here. They are some of the best pieces of food I have ever experienced. The Italian classic with sweet peppers, the Italian sausage special on Wednesday. But the Thursday roast beef special was life changing. Good people. You can feel the history of the shopFood: 5/5
Finally tried the place. Saturday roast beef special. Excellent sandwich. Not a huge meat portion for the $18, but very good ratio to the fresh crusty hero roll, and 100% fresh ingredients. I bought a side of their hot peppers bathed in chopped garlic, took the sandwich to yet another level. Will go back often.
We came for the thursday daily special... a really friendly old-fashioned sandwich shop!I liked it, but, the bread was not very crispy even though they used baguettes. And the sauce could have been more. I say it is worth trying once at least because of the fresh ingredients and portion.
