Revisited this restaurant after my first review over 18 months. Took the advantage of the Fork promo of 50% off food to have Sunday lunch last week. We ordered the Kingfish Ceviche and the chicken Alitas for entrees and a share dish of Churrasco with the roasted vegetables as side dish. Entrees are passable but the freshness of the kingfish is covered by the sourness of the sauce. It was a shame that we missed the chicken heart on our plate of Churrasco because kitchen ran out of it. However, the presentation with sizzling plate is a let down, which made the edge of the med-rare steak over-cooked (even we took out the steak from the hot plate once they were on the table). At the end, not...r...

Fogata Latin Fushion is our family’s favourite Latin food in Brisbane There are so many options to choose from, a lot of traditional dishes that use ingredients rarely found in Australia and there is definitely something for everyone My favourite item is definitely the Maduro a roasted plantain filled with sweet Bocadillo hot melted cheese My partners favourite was the Feijoada a Brazilian style hearty stew that definitely serves more than 2 Service is always really friendly here and staff are so knowledgeable about the menu and origins of where each item came from Drinks menu is extensive as well and dessert is delicious. (Not pictured and not on the menu all the...read more

I love my sangria in fogata. it was delicious. all the food came out and the empanadas were the last ones that came out. I tried to ask the waitress if I could get the mushrooms with the Chipotle sauce. both my friend and my empanadas came out one after the rest of the food. I have eaten my and realized that they had actually given me the trio of empanadas (mushroom, pulled swarm and huh). I am not a vegetarian, allergic or religious foundation. I was very disappointed because I made it clear that I wanted the vegetarian. included in bake, there was no way to say that they were not mushrooms. we said the waitress and they asked the cook and they had it with...read more

Had a remarkable Sunday lunch at this place for quite a few months. Location is slightly off the main food precinct of James Street. Walked in and felt the cosy vibe. Service was sincere and hospitable. Ordered some tapas to share. First came the Chicken Alitas was too dried but the taste was good. The coconut prawns drew my memory of the coconut prawns that I had at Thai Orchard of Mt Gravatt. This Latin Fusion version did provide its character and they were delicious. Pork Belly was done perfectly without greasy meat but crunchy skin. Bay bugs with juiced meat definitely was the hero of the day. Overall, this restaurant is recommended Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

incredibly latin fusion restaurant in a quiet part of the fortitude valley. I especially liked the calamari I would give 5/5, and the pavé cake that was more delicious and lighter than I expected. the confit duck tacos were a tad dry and needed more soned, but otherwise good taste and a generous serve the duck if you want to read more about my reviews, please visit my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on instagram for more photos!

Definitely mixed feelings about this one - not so much that it's not traditional South American food because they have fusion in their name - and fusion is what you get, sometimes it worked (the kingfish, black bean salad for example) and sometimes it didn't (the pork belly was dry and lacking real flavor). The service did make up for it, friendly and efficient and I will be back for the breakfast menu

Excellent all round service. Went there for a group celebration of 10 people and the atmosphere was great. The staff were lovely, the food was amazing and everyone had an amazing time. Getting a discount on the food made this such great value for the quality of the night. Definitely would go back there for another celebration.

Beautiful food. The stuffed capsicum was amazing and everything on the plate complimented each other. The jalapeño butter covered corn was the best thing I have ever tasted. Everyone agreed.
