The food is good, served fresh and hot. Not a big fan of chips INSIDE the souvlaki, but that's a personal touch and we will know to order without next time. The "platters" were good and VERY filling.The decor is very bland - almost scandinavian, with bleached wood and simple chairs - but this isn't a restaurant to go to for a long night of chit chat, it's somewhere to go and eat quickly, or for take away. The restaurant is very clean, and service is fast but not too fast.Supplementing the food, there's a range of Greek soft drinks (as well as the expected coke), and also Greek wine served in little individual serves. This is a good addition to the local shopping strip and conveniently close...
Really dissapointed. Souvalaki and chips $22? Seriously. Melbourne is expensive but this takes it to a new level. So small its really half a regular old school souvalaki. Embarrassing. Get back to basics, stop being greedy and use bigger bread, as this thing is a peanut. And what's with ATM basically sitting on counter? No cards here so really I paid $25 dilkars. Scam city! Feels like I was just ripped again as I was in Greece on a trip 10 years ago.
When this place opened up we were excited to see a gyros place close to home. On attending it was a bit disappointing. Place well fitted out and looks good. Food was main issue. Was cheap so can't complain to much. However the Souvlaki were small and they had chips in the bread with the meat. This was weird. Since then we have spoken to some Greek friends who indicate that this is not unusual in Greece. Despite that place did nothing for me
Staying nearby and decided to walk down and get a souvlaki. Very nice clean premises with plenty of seating. Ordered a lamb souvlaki and large chips to take away. Really enjoyed the taste and the bread was especially good. Based on reviews I went for a large chips and was glad I did. The souvlaki itself was not that large and if you are used to kebabs it's about half the size of a kebab.

We arrived in Melbourne late so just looked for something close by for dinner and wow, we stumbled across G Grill. The service was very good, easy to order and the food was great. There was nothing left on the plates at the end of the meal.
I ordered a pork yeeros and the chips with feta.. No faults in either, meat was beautifully seasoned and chips were yum! Service was A Grade, very friendly and helpful. Love the individual bottles of wine, no complaints here!
Really good souva and clean environment. Well done guys! Brunswick is full of souvlaki places but this the freshest and really tasty. A must try. We will be regulars from now on
We ordered the lamb platter and the 'lamb toastie' - both were delicious. Real lamb and fresh salad. Chips weren't bad either. Friendly staff. Greek beer also.

Love the gyros and chips with feta. Prices are reasonable. Nicos is so friendly too! Honest good food :)
We didn't ask for chips in our souvlaki. Not enough tsanzik, onions too thin
