G men is a ramen restaurant located in a strip mall in Richmond. <br/ <br/ I visited during lunch time, on week days, it was pretty busy. They had regular menu and lunch special combos which are mostly rice bowl set. <br/ <br/ I tried their regular chicken soy sauce ramen. Broth was so flavorful, it had good amount of oil, I believe it’s chicken skin oil, chi-Yu? And that made this broth taste so much authentic. A lot of ramen places in Canada, do not have enough fat in the broth so it tastes kind of weak and it does not stay hot till the end. The place is small. The ramen is good. The service is warm. Then comes it killer! It was written up by some Chinese media, it is now the place to go for Japanese ramen for the Chinese population in Richmond, which is plenty! Just another run of the mill ramen place in Japan, or even in Hong Kong, but all a sudden they are king of the hill! BTW, no miso for lunch, only dinner, I don't want anyone to be disappointed by me.
This ramen shop is really small; not many tables available so if you do go during peak dinner hours, be aware of that. My friend and I had to wait about 30 minutes, but the food was worth the wait because overall the meal was delicious (their potato fries were spot on)! Service was fast, staff were all friendly!
This is the best ramen place in town especially if you crave for exceptional noodle texture that bounces in your mouth. Their soup base is also second to none, but if you prefer a more soupy texture, don 't hesitate to request for 'less oily '. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excellent dining experience! The noodles and other dishes were just yummy! Good service, good food, but very limited seating. If you want to avoid the waiting time, I would highly recommend going there.
Great but too salty. I know ramen is supposed to be salty, but they confuse salty for taste. Quality ingreadient and service is always good. Price reasonable. Try the chicken is great.
I've never been to a Ramen place before, but wow..... The soup was so good. I had a RCMP and it was amazing. I think I might have dreamt about it!
