Had dinner here with family. The food, while not overly fancy, was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff were friendly and helpful but service could do with a little refinement wine glasses were carried to the table with a finger in each glass rather than by the stem and coffee sloshed over the side of the cup as it arrived. Had dinner in the restaurant on Sunday evening. They fitted us in despite being busy. Limited but good Sunday menu. Food good and plentiful with excellent service from a young , friendly eager to please team. Prices very reasonable for both food and drinks. Dining room, reception , entrance and toilets were spotless! Service: 5
Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Historic building, well maintained. Excellent car park facilities. Pretty well maintained outside area, ideal for a drink and lunch.
