This restaurant is in a perfect position, almost half way down the Fleckalm pisteIt is a large restaurant with ample seating outside on the terraces and also in the very traditional and typical Tyrolean style timber interiorWe generally stopped here mid mornings for a Hot Chocolate and a delicious Apple Strudel with tasty custard During our many visits to Kirchberg , we have also had several very delicious meals here , where the service is extremely rapidJust be warned ! Portions are large so generally it is best to share An excellent restaurant in a typical Traditional Tyrolean mountain fashion
Ochsalm restaurant serves very tasty food just the kind of meal you crave for after an exhausting day on the piste. I really liked the Ochsalmpfandl, which comes with Spätzle and three kinds of meat. Also the desserts are really worth a try! My favourite was the Applestrudel with Vanilla sauce. Service is fast and friendly and the view on a sunny day like the last ones tops the whole experience.
Superb service and even better food.You can taste they are using local quality ingredient and cooking everything themselves (no processed foods).I haven't found a ski-cottage (or a restaurant, as a matter of fact) with similarly delicious value-for-money food that you are served super quickly by incredibly friendly and helpful waiters - big fan, keep up the great work!
Obwohl dieser Laden innen und außen überfüllt war, war der Service sehr schnell. Gute, einfache Kost für Skifahrer. Tiroler Grosstl ausgezeichnet. Schön drinnen, obwohl wir draußen in der Sonne saßen. Gott sei Dank gibt es Toiletten auf der gleichen Etage wie das Restaurant, sodass man mit Skischuhen keine Stufen überwinden muss.

Even though this place was rammed inside and out the service was very quick. Good basic skiers fare. Tiroler grosstl excellent. Lovely inside although we sat outside in the sun. Toilets on the same floor as the restaurant thank goodness so no steps to negotiate in ski boots.
Ochsalm was for many years quite nice. We have been going there for 5 years or more during the ski season. Last week we went again, 3 adults. We ordered 60 Euros of food (lunch time). I wanted to order normal tap water as I...More
Sehr schöne Lage für einen Mittagsstopp. Sie können zwischen drinnen, draußen oder draußen unter einer Glasabschirmung wählen, die vor schlechtem Wetter schützt. Das Essen ist gut und der Service sehr schnell.
Nice spot for traditional austrian lunch on the mountain. Its a sun trap and busy. Fine for lunch but our vegetarian was unimpressed at the choice. The rest of us were very happy with our choices.

Very nice location for a lunch stop. You can choose indoor, outside or outdoor under a glass shield that repair form bad weather. Food is good and service very fast.
Good food up in the mountain. Excellent sunny terrace. Good service. Worth a visit. Great apple strudel.
