7/27/23: I got the two cakes shown in the photo. This was a blueberry cheesecake and a custard berry cake,(writing review 10 days after so... . Both were extremely wet-moist cakes... and both were really good, probably the wettest cakes I've ever remember having. I'm not sure if its the complementary components of the cake(toppings/cream/etc or what, but it was a great experience having it.Unfortunately the prices... left cake was $12, right was $9... that is well outside a normal budget for me for the quantity you get, and thus it loses a (it is pretty good, but not amazing . With the power out at home in a major work project due, I needed to find a place to work. So I decided to try Gateaux. I've been a fan of the place since they opened and love it for its thoughtful aesthetics, delicious pastries, and activist values, and because it is woman-owned. But I haven't spent much time in the shop--usually I just run in and out. Hanging out to work was a terrific experience. The music was at the perfect volume and was the perfect mix of music--for work or socializing. You can easily hear yourself think or hear your friends talking. I love this place so much!! I’ve been a customer since the place opened up. Everything tastes good and done so professionally. Cakes are good quality and the decorations are incredible. I love how they decorate the place depending on the season or in themes which I find very aesthetic, beautiful, and Instagramable. Their patisseries taste good, and the filling is always light and fresh. However, I will say in the last couple of months, I felt the quality going down and the prices went up. This could be due to them expanding. I still recommend it and would go there again!
I went to this bakery with a group of five people. The decor is elegant and we ordered their top three pastries, which were delicious and beautifully presented. The taste was good, but nothing extraordinary. There is limited seating, but we were able to find a table when we went late at night on the weekend. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious treats in a clean environment. However, the prices are a bit high for the location. While the desserts were good, I have tasted more authentic options for a lower price. I would recommend trying it out, but I personally do not plan on returning.
I ordered a customized cake for my best friend's birthday at Gateaux and it was fantastic. The cake was 8 inches, served 10 people, and was a single layer of delicious chocolate mousse. It turned out beautifully, just like the original, and was incredibly tasty. I highly recommend it!
I had a wonderful experience at this charming pastry shop that offers a wide range of delectable treats. My favorite was definitely the biscoff cheesecake! The decor inside and outside is top-notch, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere, especially the lovely pink outdoor trees.

Such a beautifully feminine place! Felt like a princess inside. Super clean and the workers are extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. Definitely a great place to go with your girlfriends!
