The atmosphere was mediocre if you appreciate the charm of an old building. The chairs felt unstable. Service was prompt and fairly friendly. We were a party of four, and our meals arrived quickly, probably within 10 to 15 minutes. The quality of the food was good, though not exceptional. The fried dill pickles were enjoyable and not greasy. Overall, it was a decent dining experience, but the prices felt a bit high considering the atmosphere; my fish plate was around $20. We might return occasionally to dine with friends, but it’s not the kind of place we would choose for a couple's outing as it didn't leave a strong impression.
The food is consistently outstanding. The service is decent, but the noise level is usually very high. With the loud music and multiple televisions, it can become overwhelming. It's often difficult to hear the person sitting next to you. Additionally, the restaurant isn't very kid-friendly. While they do offer kids' menus and provide a frisbee for entertainment, the selection of kid-friendly foods is limited, and there are almost no suitable drink options for children—only sweet tea and soda, with no juice or milk available. Overall, I would rate my experience as a dine-in visit.
The staff and service were commendable—quick and friendly. However, the food fell short of expectations, especially considering the prices. I visited a couple of times during the restaurant's first year and had an excellent experience. Unfortunately, on our most recent visit, the food was only mediocre; it didn’t taste freshly prepared and seemed to have been sitting out for an hour or two. With prices ranging from $20 to $25 and higher per plate, this is simply not acceptable. Service: Dine-in.
