Gina's Italian Ice should be a landmark! I have been going there to get my Italian ice fix for over 25 years! I'm so lucky to be able to share this amazing place with my kids. The Italian ice is so good but don't sleep on their ice cream! So good! What makes this place even more amazing is Gina and her son Patrick. You are always greeted with a smile from them and they treat all of their customers like family. They hire a great group of kids for the summer as well and they're also super friendly and hard-working. Very delicious Italian ice, there is often a line here but for good reason. The price is fair, and although there is a little late, it is worth it. Highly recommend for a family or group looking for good Italian ice.
This is definitely a favorite spot for kids looking for a cool treat. They offer large servings of ice cream and Italian ice. The staff is consistently friendly, and I've been visiting this place for over 20 years!
I definitely stay near the lake worth the ride. I always get the lemon ice cream my favorite sweets n tart with pieces. You also have the best ice cream. Look forward to them every year.

An institution and annual tradition. Been coming here since I was a kid. Best Italian ice in the Chicago area. Go to the spot a couple doors down to get some hooch added.
I found the ice cream to be lacking in flavor. I ordered a large Italian Pina Colada ice cream, but it seems that the recipe has changed. It was completely tasteless.
