My wife and I, both food enthusiasts, were struggling to find a special venue for a night out with eight friends until we rediscovered Badgers Mount. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated by Sharon in the beautifully decorated dining rooms. We were torn between the Chateaubriand and the Dover Sole, but ended up sharing the Chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection and served with delicious homemade chips, onion rings, and garnished with a flat mushroom and tomato. We dined here as a family on Saturday, in terms of service they tried but it was all a bit tis was, the food order taken before we were even asked what we wanted to drink! The food was hit and mis, portions were a decent size, chips were under cooked (rock hard), I mean how do you get chips wrong! They offered to replace them but I didn't want to wait as I had already started eating my steak which was delicious. I didn't have a dessert but sampled the others, again hit and miss. Sticky toffee pudding lovely creme brulee inedible. Over priced as well for what it was.
I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Oscars Lounge. The chef deserves high praise for the delicious meal. The atmosphere was lovely with soft background music playing. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with vibrant colors that were very tempting. The staff were attentive and willing to assist with anything we needed. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
We booked a family party here following my daughter’s baptism. We had the afternoon tea option. The food was fantastic. Beautiful cakes, sandwiches, scones plentiful and high quality. The service was also great friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. I would highly recommend. We have been a number of times for Sunday lunch and had a good experience. Absolutely love eating here..every now and then we decide to try somewhere different for a change but then really regret it and have to come back to Badgers…we have never had a bad meal here…the food is superb the service is brilliant and it’s fantastic value for money so what more could you want.
We held my husbands wake at Badgers Mount for 60 friends and family, the service was professional and discreet and the food was excellent and beautifully set out in a lovely room. We would definitely return to Badgers Mount again so would many of our friends and family.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely lovely, with great service where nothing is too much trouble. I really enjoyed my visit here. Upon arrival, you are carefully checked in and shown to your table, and then looked after like a member of the family.
