So we've tried this location several times over the past year and a half, and our main takeaway is that it's just...solidly mediocre. While you're not likely to get food poisoning or anything, they consistently have issues with overall food quality and consistent portioning. Sometimes the chicken isn't drained nearly enough to not be greasy (a strange prospect when it's not pulled fresh or recently fresh from the frier), the fries are most often either cold or lukewarm, and they seem to frequently have issues keeping certain side dishes in stock. During our journey, we had a surprisingly amazing experience at Golden Chick. We had the choice between Chick-fil-A further down the road or Golden Chick. Anthony informed us that there might be a slight wait for our food because he was hand battering the chicken, and we were perfectly fine with that. Anthony was a fantastic guy who showed a lot of passion for his job. Ten minutes later, I was enjoying some of the best fried chicken I have ever tasted.
