This is our main take out place near our house (after we stopped going to No. 1 at Roosevelt, who changed hands/ownership . The service at Golden China is always friendly and they make the food fast! We ordered a couple combo meals last night. The Sesame chicken was on point! It was crispy and cooked perfectly, plenty of sauce too. My moo goo gai pan meal came out great, plenty of vegetables. First time here, very fresh and hot. Crab Rangoon was super crispy with just the right amount of crab/cheese. The General Tso had a hint of gamey taste to the meat so I was not a fan, plus a few pieces did not have chicken in them which is quite common for these low-priced Chinese takeout restaurants. The chicken in the Chicken Thai Fried Rice was tender and white. Tastes super fresh compared to the Tso. The Thai Fried Rice doesn't have any sauce, almost looks like white rice. I didn't expect that but it tastes good! One thing is for sure, if you eat inside you will get super fresh food hot out if the fryer. Each item was delivered as it was pulled up, awesome!
The 46. Beef Lo Mein 牛捞面 was the only decent thing C19. General Tsos Chicken 左总鸡 chicken was extremely chewy and rice uncooked 39. Beef Fried Rice 牛炒饭 rice wasnt cooked all the way thru 11. Crab Rangoon 蟹角 were over cooked the filling inside was even dry will not be ordering from here again
Egg roll was without real taste. It had a grease background. The egg drop was kind of bland Shrimp Fried rice was greasy as well. The food seems to be going down hill. A year ago, the food was much better. I am sorry, but it needs to be said. I used to enjoy their food.
