$11.95 buffet $8.95 lunch this is a decent deal better then ones in Trenton with more food to choose from. Note: arrive early if going on Saturday. We arrive at 6:30pm and restaurant was busy but by 7:30 it was empty and understandably they were refilling buffet. Food: 2 serving areas see pics 7/10 in taste average. 1 desert bar much better then one in Trenton with only a freezer with ice cream Although the jello could have been cycled through. *suggestion to new owners chicken balls need to change. Very little meat see pic and batter was more like cake. Other most food was tasty. Environment: finally painted over the pink walls! Good choice. Tables chairs decent shape and bathroom was clean...
While passing through a small town, we decided to check out this restaurant for the first time. The food was delicious and the server was friendly. We ordered two dishes from the menu - the Chicken and Vegetables dish was particularly impressive with a generous amount of chicken, fresh mushrooms, and vegetables. I requested low salt and it was prepared perfectly. The portions were ample and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was clean and cozy, which was perfect on a cold November day. We drove a half hour to try their food. Well.....NO FOOD!, they make 3 shrimp, 4 chicken balls, 1 scoop of each item. So two people don’t even get a full plate and it’s ALL GONE! . Oh my,..... two more tables had come in, I knew I wouldn’t get a second small plate because someone else had gone up! They ate the scraps and half hour later,,,,,3 shrimp, 4 chicken balls were brought out. Another half hour some beans sprouts came out, 1 scoop. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! . We paid $39.00 for two small plates of food and a Pepsi. He had to go eat later that evening. Stay away. They say they want their food fresh, but they are very smart, you can’t eat what isn’t there.
Service was good. Food containers were almost empty and what was there was cold. The chicken balls were rock hard. The containers were not replenished while we were there at dinner time. We have enjoyed eating there since we moved to the area in 2004 but will not be eating there again. Saw cook when we were leaving and he was wearing a mask...ew.
This restaurant is terrible. Save your money and toilet paper for when you get home. The service is just as bad as the food. The owners allow their unruly kids to run wild and there are old baby bottles lying around. In three words, do not dine here.
I recently moved to Frankford in May and have yet to see this restaurant open since then. According to Trip Advisor, more information is needed for a proper review. It's difficult to say much else about this place.
good selection, owners are very pleasant and go an extra step to please; food is hot and plenty of it. our group of five have been there several times and always find it enjoyable.
This used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant but since new management took over food is not to my liking anymore. Will not be returning
new owners not as much on buffet at any given time (ie only small quantities of each item) may have to wait for some items
