I had heard a lot of great things about Golden Peacock, so my friend and I decided to stop by for lunch after swimming at Camp Jahn. Instead of the scorpion shell recommended by our waitress, we opted for the house shell. I can’t really say what the difference is between the two, but it didn’t matter because it was delicious. We shared a Pupu plate for two, which was more than enough food for us. We also added an extra order of crab rangoons, which were the best I’ve ever had. I have the most beautiful surprise when I picked up my order. according to their online menu it should cost $32.75 he has me $52.10! When I complained, he really became rude with me. I told him after his online menu it should have been $20 less. he started yelling at me when I told him he had to update his online menu and say it was the same as his hand. I told him it wasn't. he was a very unpleasant man. see his online menu. it's a demolition. it was not updated in 6 years. buyer's intention. Yeah, it's good to eat, but I don't like being ripped off.
Before the pandemic, dining here was a wonderful experience. The waitstaff and all the employees were incredibly warm and friendly, making every visit enjoyable for my husband and me. We particularly loved their Scorpion bowls. We’ve also tried their take-out, which was just as fantastic. We’re really glad they continued to offer take-out during this time. I highly recommend this place, and we won’t be going anywhere else!
now and then i've tried different Chinese Restaurants, but there's no comparison at all. Golden Peacock has the best tasting, freshest food with generous proportions.....The atmosphere is nice, clean and warm. Great place to celebrate special occasions.

eating was very tasty, but disappointed that when my son went to order our order only then he was saying there was no canton soup. there was an answer that we looked at an old menu and then said they were all out!
The food is outstanding and brings back memories of a restaurant I used to visit as a child. The flavors are rich and abundant, and the portions are generous. I know I can always count on a great meal here!
Food is excellent! A little wait during the holiday weekend, but to expect. Signs were for holiday dates, there would be no substitutes etc. They are setting the right expectation for the weekend.
