I got a regular matcha latte to test the quality of the matcha. If the milk is heated too much, it can ruin even good matcha, and that’s unfortunately what it tasted like. The place feels like a typical hyped spot that doesn’t really understand matcha. If you want to benefit from a culture, I think the least you can do is learn about it and approach it with some respect. The staff didn’t seem very confident or informed about the products they’re serving. If you keep selling something that’s more about hype than actual matcha, it might give people the wrong idea, especially those trying it for the first time.
