I truly believe they were just too busy to provide the level of food for which they charge. It was incredibly busy on a Saturday night and the service and quality reflected it. I was disappointed, the scallops were delicious but the grits were lacking. The ribs were a dry rub, no bbq? The amount we spent vs what we felt like we got was rather disappointing. And our poor server was just slammed, so there was no personal interaction or time spent. The view is beautiful though. This place did not disappoint. Oysters on the half shell were delicious, which definitely made up for the overcooked lobster tail! Would absolutely recommend! I had dinner at this restaurant and I would say the experience was delightful. The price per person was between $50 and $100. I highly recommend trying the Lake Perch and the Seafood Platter, both of which were exceptional.
What a hidden gem! The food and service here are exceptional. I absolutely love the cozy ambiance of the restaurant. The stunning views of Lake Michigan provide a perfect backdrop for watching the sunset.
