The owners are from Greece and still have ties to family there. The restaurant has a family atmosphere, and also classy . Staff are friendly and service is always excellent. The food is delicious! I have always had a great meal at any of the Greek Island Restaurants. There are 4 in total and all run by siblings of the same family. So the menu is very consistent. Whether you are looking for an intimate dinner for 2 or a dinner for a larger group, you will not be disappointed with this restaurant as your choice. I haven't received great service recently at other local Abbotsford restaurants, so it was such a great dining experience today when we had Kat as our server! We had a large party of 11 and she was sooo attentive: drink refills were fast, bread baskets refilled, orders were correct, and she was friendly! Our bills were confusing as some ppl were paying for other ppl's lunches, but she got them right! And kudos to the kitchen for the always tasty food! Thanks for a great dining experience!
