As you age your tastes do change, and eating those doughnuts made me wonder if I'd finally hit the point when sugar coated rings of saturated fat no longer appealed. I would go back just for the fritter. The fritter was so soft and fluffy. I forgot what flavour it was (may have been a white choc blueberry) but it was hella good ! <br/ <br/ The doughnut with the pink icing and sprinkles was a take on the Simpson doughnut. I found it overly sweet but that may have just been me because I had the apple fritter before it (I’m the type of person who can’t handle too many sweet things at once).<br/ <br/ The service was great. If i ever go back to Sydney, I will definitely visit Grumpy Donuts again.
I was told by Sydney blogger Josh M Griffiths this was the GREATEST and BEST donuts on EARTH.So i drove 900klms from Brisbane to eat one.I got a Grumpy coffee and chose a breakfast donut.....well...I think I saw God.There were birds singing, wind blew my hair back...and I'm bald!This donut brought back dayglo socks!It was the Alpha and Omega of all donuts.Also the girl who served me was both a vision of loveliness and entirely helpful in the choice of delicious donut.So....bonus.Also across the road was beer.
I went to Grumpy Donuts with my husband on Saturday and arrived there around 2:30pm. Some of the donuts i wanted to try was already sold out so we got one chocolate, one peanut flavour, one cream cheese & caramel filling and one butter icing donut. They were all really nice but my favourite one was the cheese cream & caramel filling. It was soooo goooood. My advise is to get in early in case they sell out :) Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I purchased a box of 4 donuts at this restaurant. The donuts were soft and packed with a lot of sugar, which some people may enjoy. The fritters, especially the apple crumble and blueberry ones, were intense and delicious with a tasty glaze and filling. The cookies and cream donut was also enjoyable, with a perfect balance of crumbs, icing, and fluffy dough.
I am not a donut lover but then there aretimes you have this sugar rush and you want to escape but its best done if in right quantity! We ordered 2 peanut butterbing and snorkers both of them were like the best thing we had in this last one week. Supergood !
