Habeeb's opened up quite a while ago but I only recently started ordering from here. I wish I knew about this gem sooner because the food is amazing! I first ordered their 5 Alarm Chicken Sandwich, Greek salad, and baba ghanoush via DoorDash. The sandwichwas amazing- spicy but not overwhelmingly hot.The salad was also good. Baba ghanoush was ok, probably not something I'd ordernext time (perhaps I'll try the hummus next time . Today, I ordered their Mexican platter and it was also delicious! It was my first time here, and I will say it was a great meal. I got the Monday special grill chicken, hummus, rice, and salad and added pita for $1, and it was amazing. Enjoyed my meal. I was at the New Brunswick location, but i am going to try the Metuchen location too as it is closer to where i live. Must try it i know you will LOVE IT follow me on youtube Sumalena's kitchen.
The portions are generous, but the prices are a bit high. One order is likely sufficient for two people. I have lowered my rating to 3 stars due to hygiene concerns—I witnessed a staff member putting a glove on one hand but not the other, and then picking up food that had fallen on the counter to add to a customer's order.
Used to be great, but if you order in and ask for wheat tortilla they up charge you an extra $1. Had falafel with no flavor last week, this week gyro was cold. Not sure what happened but lately the food really is sub par, and not cheap.

This food is incredible! The Spicy Moroccan Eggplant Platter is fantastic. The Salmon Salad has become my new favorite, especially with the beets and pickled cabbage. Everything tastes so fresh, and the portions are generous.
Classic Gyro Pita is the best pita I had in the States! Homemade Tzatziki is delicious and really connects the fresh ingredients. Beef/Lamb gyro meat has a great flavor profile too, even though it is from ground meat.
The Cajun chicken pita is delicious and made fresh to order. The service is quick, and the food is consistently outstanding!
The Salmon Salad was delicious. Salmon is crispy on the outside and soft inside. Grape Leaves App also so delicious!
