The food at this restaurant is acceptable, but it's annoying that there are no prices displayed for the items I was interested in. I had to inquire about the price for each dish, which was quite inconvenient. Moreover, their prices are higher than those at Barbara's Deli and KD Market. Their operating hours are also not very convenient. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place!
My favorite sandwich is freshly made on a warm, baked Kaiser roll, and it is absolutely delicious. They also have amazing soups, potato pancakes, a complete deli selection, and a wide range of baked goods. The staff delivers excellent, friendly service, and it's always a pleasure to see familiar faces whenever we come back.
Helens has the BEST homemade fresh Polish sausage I have ever eaten! Their homemade pierogis are also awesome. I used to make them myself but theirs are as good as mine. I live in Woodstock now so it takes me over an hour to drive there but I’ve been going there for 40 years it’s definitely worth the drive!
Any time you can walk into a store like this and walk out with a sizable Kiszka and a bottle of Polish honey beer for under $12 is a good one. The only drawback was that when they shut down at 4 they want you out quick, but I can't complain about the variety of the food or the prices. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The restaurant features an excellent variety of authentic Polish dishes at affordable prices. I don’t mind making a 20-minute drive just to enjoy a meal here because the food is truly delicious!
Helen's is a true gem of a deli and market in Wood Dale. The food is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I particularly enjoy their selection of salami and their potato salad!
Best sandwiches, pastries and bacon in town, hands down. Love the sandwiches tho. I buy one almost every week. It’s simple yet the proportions and ingredients are just delicious.
