For a time, getting into the place was a bit challenging, but the impact of COVID-19 has made it easier for those of us from outside to visit, as some office workers have stayed away. Fortunately, the quality of the food remains exceptional, and the service is excellent. They greet you with one of the best miso soups you’ll ever taste. The sushi rolls are phenomenal, especially when served with fresh wasabi—it's simply delicious!
You can customize your meal however you like. There is plenty of parking available due to the surrounding office buildings. The food is outstanding, and the service is top-notch. Enjoy your visit, and you can thank me later!
Everythings good except... The Teriyaki did not taste like any teriyaki I've ever had. It tasted... dirty. I don't know, I honestly couldn't put my finger on it. Everything else though was great! The miso soup was one of the best I've ever had, as was the ginger salad that came with my meal. I got the salmon rolls and they were delicious. The service was excellent. I will try again some other time and see if the teriyaki chicken I order was a fluke or if they really just make it different.
Amazing quality and consistency. I've been coming to Hirano every week for the last several months and have always been impressed with how fresh the sushi is and how attentive the service is. The Cubs roll is a must and don't skip the Hamachi for some incredibly fresh Yellowtail. Would recommend to anyone in the area!
Quality sushi restaurant run by the most wonderful couple. The hostess is so kind and they treat you like family. Their seafood is consistently SO fresh. My favorite is the Cub roll and the Westin roll. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the area!

This hidden gem was very accommodating. From the get go the server was very kind and I felt like an honored guest. Food was above average. From the crab appetizer to the sake don we ate everything. Portion size was perfect. Quaint little place. I'll be back.
The quality of the food and the service is excellent on weekends. During the week, the restaurant attracts many business travelers from the nearby Westin hotel. It is conveniently situated just off I-290 and Thorndale Avenue, right next to the Westin hotel.
Why would you go anywhere else? On the hosts suggestion we ordered ala carte with a bunch of rolls and she let us know what was fresh. Could not be happier and the service was amazing. Ask the owner for a sake bomb. You will not be disappointed!
The staff here is非常友好 and the food is excellent! I’m not a sushi expert, but I found it absolutely delightful. The truly standout feature is the helpful staff. The tuna was fantastic as well. I highly recommend trying the #2!
