A few weeks ago, my wife and I were attending a wedding nearby and discovered Honey Butter right across the street. We decided to try it on our first morning, and it was so delightful that we returned the very next day! The service was outstanding, and the food was truly exceptional – it felt almost heavenly. Although the wait for the food was a bit longer, it was clear that everything was freshly made, so we didn't mind. The coffee, roasted locally just for Honey Butter, was fantastic. We will definitely be sure to stop by whenever we're in the area again. Thanks to everyone there!
We spent our vacation in Carbondale, CO, and dined at this diner on our first night. I ordered the fried chicken, and it was the best I've ever had! We loved it so much that we went back for dinner on our last night just so I could have the chicken again! I'm craving it even now! They also serve the best shakes and desserts around. Our server, Katie, went above and beyond to accommodate my family. Thank you, Katie, for bringing a little taste of Iowa to Colorado!
Honey Butter deserves a spot on your must-visit list if you're in the area. My wife and I had an amazing breakfast there. The Chicken Fried Steak was fantastic, and the Chicken and Waffles were delightful as well. The service was friendly, just as we expected. Overall, it's a really cool restaurant. I highly recommend it!
The fried chicken here is remarkable, and the views are breathtaking. We especially enjoyed the bacon-wrapped chicken meatball. The Brussels sprouts were incredibly tasty as well. The menu offers classic dishes with some interesting choices. This place is definitely worth a visit!

The decor is fantastic, and the food is even better. Their hot sauce might just be the hidden gem of the menu. I absolutely love their pancakes, and the avocado toast is quite good as well. The fried chicken is excellent—definitely the best in town!
The coleslaw was very enjoyable. The fried chicken was okay, but it was cooked a bit too long, resulting in dry meat on the breast and legs. The mashed potatoes with gravy caused me quite a bit of heartburn.
Classic old school dinner. Fantastic atmosphere and located near our hotel. Had Huevos Rancheros, it was fantastic. My daughter had biscuits and grave. The biscuits were a little heavy
I am a huge fan of the breakfast at Honey Butter, and I'm thrilled that they now offer Slow Groovin BBQ a few nights each week! It always makes for a wonderful experience.
