if they are in a non- vegan restaurant and they want something vegan, it helps to have a talented chef who has thought about vegan options before visiting them. chef suman and his team did this. the morning menu has a vegan bowl with basmati rice, yellow split heels, carrots with quinoa, local green and black bohnenpatty has the current dinner menu: fried faro fried faro, picked vegetables, soy sauce, rice and veggie knusprig(Vegan)
Really fantastic and somewhat unique dining experience that we were not expecting in Des Moines, would highly recommend this spot. Cheese plate and carrots both great apps to start, live the small menu, usually a great sign in a restaurant that size. Service was great with nice wine pairing recommendations, overall a great night!
we visited the jubilee dinner. the restaurant looked beautiful and the service was great. eating was very good, apart from the third cure, a dry and very blande type of shredded bun on a savory waffel. the lamb was excellent, the chowder was perfect and delicious for a cold evening.
