Went there today 23rd 4th 2022, at around 13:45, with my 83yr old mother. We bought drinks and then had a look at the menu. We made our choices, and I went to the bar to order. Only to be told that the kitchen doesn 't open 'till 5:00. Extremely disappointed. If we had known the kitchen wasn 't open, then we wouldn 't have bought the drinks, and would have left immediately. There appeared to be only one person behind the bar, who seemed to be running the whole place on her own. The dog treats on the bar were a nice touch. However. We will not be going back again. There wasn 't any indication that there was no food available, even though we went into what looked to be the main dining area. A...
Food OK not brilliant but asked for gammon and was served it. Food was very fresh and hot when brought to table. Not asked if it was OK throughout the meal. Drinks where slightly over priced for a village pub. Bar staff and chef on mobile phones behind bar... for a village pub on a Saturday night advising Live entertainment for Saturday night but not happened at 2015. Advertise at 2000. On the menus inside. Very clean toilets mens and ladies. Just need to brush up on certain things.
Under new management, and the place looks amazing! The food is to die for and is also a good price, as well as the cocktails! Honestly amazing, would definitely go for a bite to eat and a cocktail or two (or maybe the whole menu). Cannot begin to tell you how friendly and lovely the staff are, they honestly could not do enough for you! So attentive and you can tell they actually care. Will be definitely coming again, and bringing the family too!!
Visited here with my son who has recently moved into the area as it is his local. Can totally recommend the cocktails and we had some food which we shared. Lovely atmosphere, my son has already been back and I look forward to my next visit. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great staff food fantastic the best I have tasted in a while. My wife never eats pies but theirs are amazing she loves them, korean chips are to die for
