This was hands down one of the best places to get fried chicken. I got the Crispy chicken and it was hot, flavourful and juicy. Completely delicious. My only problem was the spice that they use. Not only do they just powder it on too of the already fried chicken, it doesn't really have the punch you may be looking for and leaves a weird and slightly unpleasant feeling in your mouth after. Overall, would visit again but would probably avoid the spice all together unless they substitute it with a different one.
I've passed this spot so many times and finally decided to give it a try. If anybody told me that both my husband and I would spend 15$ of $30 we paid overall for the BONES, I would have just gone to the grocery shop and bought 2 whole trays of chicken breasts for the same price. Seriously though, I imagined eating the soft consistent chicken breast, and then stuck on the bone, so disgusting. On the picture you can see the bone and the actual meat contents. How do you guys imagine people eating it on the go?
Restaurant does look like much, place was very quiet when I walked in and wasn't 100% sure where to place my order, I ended up ordering the original with little spice, the chicken took a long time to arrive and wasn't having a very good experience but man did that change when I had a bite I changed my mind quickly, the chicken was juicy and flavorful and there was alot of meat, the batter wasn't too much and had some seasoning but I like my with spice and it really made the chicken perfect.

I gotta say their quality has gone downhill seriously. They used to be able to keep up the original hotstar standard very close to Taiwan. However the chicken I had two days ago was very dry, overly seasoned with chili powder. It was not the same hotstar flavor I am used to
In Singapore we have a lot of Hot Star outlets and you fontvreally have to wait long fir your order unlike here in Toronto outlet. The menu also is a bit different, it'd be nicer if they could offer different french fries flavours here like what we have in Asia.
Chicken is very fresh, however pricy, cooking took 35 minutes instead of 15. They use partially sweet seasoning for their fries which is not for everyone (didn't like it personally) and original chicken has a very badly used paprika seasoning.
Pretty tasty large fried chicken but a bit overpriced. If the price was a bit better than it def be 4 stars no cap. There is a lot of other great fried chicken places around here so the block is hot rn. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Been here many times. I love their coating, crispy and stays on the meat. Size is acceptable, not big, a good place for afternoon snack.
