Okay so we used to love this place and have spent hundreds here with carry out the biryani, haleem, and chicken 65. But boy did Eid go wrong for us. We thought this was one of the best Desi places to get food from in all of Chicago.We ended up making a huge order here for Eid Al Adha day 100 bucks for a haleem tray and we got a huge tray of chicken 65. For some reason the haleem was awful because it had a very strong potent cow/lamb smell coming from it I don't know if it was some weird ghee they used or what). It was difficult to eat because it smelled so awful. Family members who usually love their haleem were not able to eat it. The chicken 65 was ok but not the best when eating it it tas...
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Honestly I am not at all exaggerating. I came to visit Chicago from LA and one of my friend suggested this place for authentic hyderabadi biriyani. The taste is extremely authentic to it?s core hyderabadi taste.I?ve ordered chicken 65 and hyderabadi mutton dum biriyani and the taste is really really really good. The people over there areso kind and helpful. They don?t have any place for dine-in and yet they tried to accommodate us in every possible way theycan. In one statement, this place have the original hyderabadi dum biriyani.
I catered three back to back events with Hussain's, all of our guests enjoyed the food very much, i ordered: 1. Chicken 65 10/10 2. Biryani 12/10 3. Tala hua Gosh 100/10 4. Desi Chinese I have been craving for this for so long, but finally hussain'sreminded me of the taste from back home. Their Mongolian Beef and Chicken Manchuria was out of the world 100/10 Apart fromthis, Mr Shaker is very humble and down to earth person, he will be my permanent caterer for all the events.
The website price is incorrect. They should take the time to update it. While placing the order, I was provided a price and they tried charging more during pickup. After back and forth the correct amount was charged. Biryani was good. Haleem was advertisedas goat but smelled of lamb. The taste was subpar. Chicken Tikka masala was good. Food was ready at the agreed upon time.

Got a half tray of their mutton biryani well made and flavorful. But I feel the ratio of rice to meat is way off. They basically pile on a heap of plain rice all over on top of the pan it's just extra rice that cannot be eaten on it's own. Thebiryani could do with some more marination (birishta/masala). I have not tried any other items on his menu, but will updatewhen I do.
We have been ordering mutton biryani at this place for sometime now. Although the biryani tastes very good but the quantity of meat is very less. Also the mirchi ka salan that was given with went bad by evening. We bought the food in afternoon. Don’t feel like ordering the biryani again from this place.
Incredibly delicious authentic Hyderabadi cuisine! I ordered full trays of chicken biryani and nihari, and both dishes were bursting with flavor and aroma. My guests absolutely loved the food, and Hussein Catering has secured a loyal customer in me for life. Excellent work!
Very delicious food!! There Haleem was amazing...pretty much everything is really really good! Probably one of the best caterers in the Chicagoland area and suburbs. Highly recommend them
