This is one of my favorite hole-in-a-wall restaurant in Montebello. They serve delicious Mediterranean food, it always taste fresh and the portions are generous. This place never disappoints. We like to get the lamb, chicken and beef kabob with pilaf rice and mashed potatoes. We also get the Armenian salad and it’s one of my absolute favorite. The dressing is super simple and the flavor is so fresh and crunchy (cucumbers). Love that this place has great service and they serve the food fairly quickly. Can accommodate large groups easily as the restaurant is huge on the inside.
Great local restaurant. The combos with your choice of kebab or lule was great. I had the chicken and beef. My son had the chicken with lamb. Both were excellent. The meat was tender. The sides we got were the bulgar wheat which was seasoned perfectly and the pilaf was great too. I also had the spinach which was seasoned well and not overcooked. Highly recommended. NOTE: as of 7/4/22, they are still take out only. You can order through other delivery services as well. I highly recommend calling your order in directly and picking up on your own.
Delicious food and great service! We had the Greek salad and lamb sandwich. The portions were huge for the cheap price. Will definitely come back again! *Update* We went back with the whole family and this time they had a spicy chili sauce along with the garlic butter sauce to go with your pita bread. We had the lamb and pork kabobs as well as the beef and chicken lules. We also had this really delicious pickled cabbage along with many other sides. Turns out we have yet to taste something we don't like. Service was still as wonderful.
Stopped here because it was one of the higher rated Mediterranean places in the area and I didn't want to go to a chain restaurant. Ordered the filet mignon kabob with the sautéed potatoes and the roasted vegetables. Absolutely delicious! I wish there was more to the vegetables (it was a roasted pepper and a roasted tomato) but besides that the potatoes were super flavorful and complemented the meat quite well. The beef was so soft and the flavor was great, very moist. If I lived closer I would definitely come again!
This was a wonderful restaurant in terms of the quality of their food. However, they have permanently closed as of February 15, 2023. Very sad. I still gave them five stars because the food was fantastic when they were open for business. Hopefully they'll open a new location.
My first time at this place. The lamb kabobs were outstanding, salad so fresh also the hummus taste so freshly made nothing can compare to this better than anything bought at the store. Definitely will come back
Whoever is in charge of updating the hours of operation needs to be fired.. just drove 45 mins to try this place for the first time and it's closed
Trash place small restaurant service is slow and never have time for seating go to John's kebabs for better food and not enough employees
Good food, good portions and great staff, a Montebello hidden gem. Food is fresh and made to order the hummus and falafel are great
